MARCH 2009 NEWS & NOTES…

Saturday Team- Saturday, March 7- 8:00am-noon

Saturday Team runs like a day of camp… rotating riding lessons, barn chores & ponyschool. The cost is $50/Saturday. All students Level Silver & above are welcome.If you will be at Saturday Team this week & are also a Show Team member who will beparticipating in the Carousel Show next week, please bring your show outfit (clothes,boots, helmet) to change into during the morning. Betsy will be doing a last “inspection”to make sure her riders have all aspects of their show attire correct & ready beforethe real judging begins!

Sarabande SuperStars Meeting- Saturday, March 7- noon- 1:30

We have changed our monthly Saddlebred Club meeting day/time so that all thestudents who have been enjoying our field trips and other events can join the club andparticipate in a bigger way. Please join us this Saturday at noon (after Team). ContactMegan at meganaustin@hotmail.com with any questions.

NO LESSONS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11- SATURDAY, MARCH 14

Betsy will be at the Carousel Show in Scottsdale during this time so there will be nolessons or Saturday Team. There are five Wednesdays & five Thursdays in April, so thisweek’s missed lessons can be made up on your normal day of the week during that longmonth. If that does not work or you have a Friday lesson, please emailsarabandestables@yahoo.com to reschedule.

Carousel Horse Show in Scottsdale- March 11-15

Several of our Show Team members will be participating in the Carousel Show atWestWorld in Scottsdale on March 11-15. If you are not participating in the show butwould still like to come up to support your teammates, please emailmeganaustin@hotmail.com so that we can coordinate carpools. Most people will beheading up to Scottsdale early Saturday morning & returning to Tucson late Sundayevening.
