DMC CROCHET CUSHION

And don't forget to relax and enjoy yourself as your create this beautiful piece! Materials: Approximately 19.5" x 19.5" upon completion. 1 Ball of Traditions (Art. 148) in any color you choose. Instructions: This crochet cushion is made in several stages. Follow the diagram carefully. Start at point A. Crochet the center of the big flower, then the petals, using the diagram as a guide. At the top of a petal, work down again with a row of sl st along the left side of the petal. Form the 2nd petal. *Proceed in the same way for the other petals. Finish the flower. Cut the yarn. *Attach the yarn at point B. Continue 5 rings by following the diagram. Cut the yarn. *Attach the yarn at point C with 1 sl st. Form the 1st petal, work in sl st down the left side of the petal, 15 sl st in the 15 sc of the previous ring, 10 ch, turn over the work to the reverse side, 1 sc in the 8th sl st, 10 ch, 1 sc in the 7th sl st; 1 ch, turn the work back face up, 13 sc in the arc of 10 ch, 6 sc in the following arc, 10 ch, turn over the work, 1 sc in the 7th sc of the 1st arc, 1 ch, turn over the work, 13 sc in the 3rd arc of the 10 ch, 7 sc in the 2nd arc. Continue in this way. Cut the yarn at the end of the ring. *Attach the yarn at point E. Crochet the square. Cut the yarn. Make the motifs forming the 4 corners, and assemble them to the big central motif and to the square, as indicated in the diagram. Finishing Touches: Iron the reverse side using a damp cloth. Make a cushion 19.5" x 19.5", place the crochet center in the middle.
