A Letter from theExecutive Director
Dear Friends,
In 2008 God has done “immeasurably more” than we could have ever hoped or
imagined. Who would have thought that when we started less than two yearsago that we would already be actively working with five families and over fortymentors.
I am continually reminded that we haven’t done this on our own. It is simply
amazing to think of all those who have partnered with us in this adventure of helping to restore single mothers and their children; everyone from the financialsupporters, volunteers, community partners, churches, and so many more.We hope that this annual report is a reflection of what God can do when peoplecatch on to his vision for restoration and hope.Thank each of you so much for partnering with The Restoration House and thefamilies we journey with each and every day. Journeying toward Restoration,Daniel WatsonExecutive Director

"I came into TheRestoration House notknowing exactly what toexpect, just hoping to getsome help & support inmaking a life for myself and my daughter. I camewith my mind as open aspossible, considering the
not so great past I’ve had.I haven’t grown up feeling
like life had too much of asupport system. I have tosay, meeting all of mymentors was quiteoverwhelming. I meanwhat do you expect whenyou meet a bunch of strangers that aresupposed to love, help,
and support you… and to
form a bond with. Nowthat I know them allthough, I feel like they arean extension. They are alot like family and I lovethem as if they are. Thenthere is Mandy andDaniel. They feel like my
protectors. There aren’t
really words to explainthem, other than thatthey are wonderful. Andas the months have goneby so quickly, amongst all
the issues I’ve been trying
to overcome, I slowly feelas though life is changingfor the better. Doors areopening and I am growingmentally and spiritually.Who would havethought???"
