Still, I look forward to the rest of this book.
"If we’ve come to a critical juncture when the church (as we often hear) must change or die, why is this happening now and not, say, 1600 years ago?" Actually, the quote is, "Adapt or die", and that's where the 'church' failed miserably, by failing to adapt to the modern world. We do not live in those barbaric superstitious times any more. Thank God.
