– The Danish Film Institute is the national agencyresponsible for supporting and encouraging lmand cinema culture. The Institute’s operations ex-tend from participation in the development andproduction of feature lms, shorts and docu-mentaries, over distribution and marketing, tomanaging the national lm archive and thecinematheque. The total budget of the DFI 2005is DKK 390.4 m / EURO 52 m.
