As Spring Break comes to end, the entertainment continues at the Talento Bilingue deHouston! It's your last chance to catch Et Voila Theatre's production of "Ils S'aiment (TheyLove Each Other). The hilariously funny play by Muriel Robin and Pierre Palmade, is done inFrench with English surtitles, and the last 2 shows will be presented on Friday and Saturday,March 15th and 16th at 8:00 pm.In collaboration with the Houston Art Alliance, we are thrilled to host the first concert in theseries of three, that showcases the vibrant and distinctive Latino music traditions that reside inHouston. The Uno, Dos, Tres!, concert series will premiere on Saturday, March 23rd,beginning with a workshop in the TBH Theatre at 5:00 pm, "The Polyrythyms of Cuban Son".The outdoor concert at Guadalupe Plaza will follow at 6:30 pm, featuring El Rectorado del Sonand both events are absolutely FREE. Folks, it just doesn't get any better than that. So makeplans to come out and enjoy!The Houston Grand Opera is proud to present the original Mariachi Opera, March 21st through24th at the Wortham Theater Center. "Cruzar la Cara de la Luna/To Cross the Face of theMoon" is a beautiful story of three generations of one family divided by countries andcultures. If you experienced "Past the Checkpoints" you cannot miss the original MariachiOpera that started it all. Go to the link in the ad below for times and ticket information.

The National HispanicProfessional Organization (NHPO) will host the 1st Annual Crawfish Cook Off, benefittingTBH, on Sunday afternoon, April 7th from 1pm to 6 pm, at Stephanie's Icehouse, 5434Lawndale. Live entertainment will be provided by Sister Sister y Los Misters, for yourlistening pleasure. The Cinco de Mayo celebration will be held in conjunction with our newcorporate partner, El Tiempo Cantina which will host the reception at their new location at2814 Navigation Blvd., on Monday, April 29th at 5:00 pm., with show to follow at the TBHTheatre at 7:30 pm. Tickets for this fun filled event will go on sale for a very reasonable $25each.
