 Viper
: [
Door opens
] Mom! Dad!
 Mrs. Tagge
: Hello Cole.
 Viper
: I… I though you were dead! Killed in a car accident!
 Mr. Tagge
: No Cole, we’re very much alive.
 Viper
: But your bodies-
 Mrs. Tagge
: No more questions Cole. We’ll explaineverything on the way out.
 Viper
: [
Dumbfounded 
] Okay. [
They all walk out of the room
]So how did you escape death?
 Mr. Tagge
: We weren’t really dead, Cole. That damn SendoInomori kidnapped us and took us here. We would have beendead if we hadn’t escaped.
 Viper
: Well I’m just glad you’re alive. [
Grunts and grabshis side
]
 Mrs. Tagge
: Cole, are you okay?
 Viper
: I’m fine.
 Mrs. Tagge
: You look wiped out.
 Viper
: Yeah, I just got a little drained back there when Iwas fighting some X-Knights.
 Mr. Tagge
: Here Cole, lean on me. [
Cole leans on him
] Nowjust don’t put so much wait on yourself and let me do mostof the walking.
 Viper
: Thanks Dad.
 Mr. Tagge
: You’re very welcome Cole.
EMMA 
: Viper. What about the others?
 Mrs. Tagge
: Who said that?
 Viper
: Its just EMMA. I downloaded her onto my watch.
EMMA 
: Hello Mr. and Mrs. Tagge.
 Mr. Tagge
: [
Pauses
] Oh yes, EMMA! How could I forget? Iguess being in that containment room has caused me tobecome a little forgetful. [
Laughs
] So EMMA how have youbeen?
EMMA 
: Well being that you two closed up the lab and leftme, I’ve been fine. [
Pauses
] Viper, can I talk to you inprivate?
 Viper
: Mom? Dad? [
Mr. and Mrs. Tagge exchange sternglances
]
 Mr. Tagge
: Okay, but hurry up. We have to get out of hereas soon as possible.
 Viper
: [
Hangs back
] What did you want to tell me?
EMMA 
: It’s about your parents.
 Viper
: Isn’t it great that they’re alive?
EMMA 
: This isn’t easy to tell you this Viper, but I thinkthese people that call themselves your parents-
 
 Viper
: What do you mean, “people that call themselves myparents?” These people
are
my parents.
EMMA 
: I’m telling you Viper. These people aren’t yourparents. Your father was never forgetful.
 Viper
: I know that but-
EMMA 
: Your parents designed me a few years before you wereborn. I was a very important project. They could neverforget me.
 Viper
: They left their lab in Miami to a smaller house inOrlando. How do you know that they didn’t forget about you?
EMMA 
: Because, I had a conversation with them before theyleft.
 Viper
: You did?
EMMA 
: Yes, and the reason why the left was because theythought that Orlando wouldn’t be a suitable environment foryou to live in.
 Viper
: I can’t believe that.
EMMA 
: They left their jobs as scientist to take care ofyou. They said it would be better to take care of you inthe simple life.
 Viper
: Liar!
EMMA 
: Fine. If you don’t believe me, then there is no pointin staying here. [
The watch shuts down
]
 Viper
: Fine! [
Limps back to his dad 
] Let’s go Mom and Dad.
 Mr. Tagge
: Are you sure? You don’t look well enough to go.Maybe we should take a brake.
 Viper
: No, I’m fine. Let’s just go.
 Mrs. Tagge
: If you say so Cole. [
They walk some more
]
 Viper
: Huh. That’s weird.
 Mrs. Tagge
: What is it Cole?
 Viper
: Just in the entire time that we’ve been walking, Ihaven’t seen a single X-Knight.
 Mr. Tagge
: Um… maybe, they thought you were dead?
 Viper
: They want me for experimentation, what use wouldthey have for if I was dead?
 Mr. Tagge
: It’s just a suggestion.
 Viper
: I don’t know Dad; I thought you would have moresense than that.
 Mr. Tagge
: I think I’ve told you this earlier but I’m veryclear in the head right now.
 Mrs. Tagge
: Neither of us is.
 Viper
: Well can I see the map?
 Mr. Tagge
: Um… No.
 Viper
: Why not?
 Mr. Tagge
: Um…that’s because…I need it for…um…looking at.I’m the keeper of the map! And as your father I am tellingyou not to ask again!
 
 Viper
: All right, jeez. [
An X-Knight walks by 
]
X-Knight
: There they are! I have found the escapees! Theylook like they have Fire!
 Viper
: Oh no!
 Mr. Tagge
: That’s okay Cole, your mother and I will take itfrom here. [
Sets Viper down
] Ready Shannon?
 Mrs. Tagge
: Ready when you are. [
Mr. and Mrs. Tagge have anepic battle scene with the X-Knights as they start showing up; they come out victorious
]
 Viper
: [
After watching the X-Knights and his parents fight,he is dumbfounded 
] Whoa! I didn’t know that you could fightlike that!
 Mrs. Tagge
: We’re x-secret agents, Cole. We were welltrained in hand-to-hand combat.
 Viper
: But still…whoa! [
Gets back to leaning on his father 
]
 Mr. Tagge
: Okay now Cole, I think it would be best if wehurry. It won’t be long before more arrive.
 Viper
: More? Should it matter? I mean you guys took them onlike they were nothing. More should be no problem.
 Mrs. Tagge
: But we are just humans Cole. And as we haveaged, we have grown to become fatigued quicker. So we mustmove quickly. It would be wise to avoid any more battles.
 Mr. Tagge
: [
Smiles
] Yeah, Cole! Whether you know it or not,we were actually hurt pretty bad.
 Viper
: Are you all right?
 Mr. Tagge
: Of course, but we’re strong enough to not let itbother us. But anyway, we really should get moving. [
LeansViper on his shoulder 
]
 Viper
: If you say so. But are you sure this is the rightway?
 Mr. Tagge
: We are absolutely positive.
 Viper
: How would you be absolutely positive if you werelocked up all this time?
 Mr. Tagge
: [
Stuttering 
] Uh… well… hmm… if you really wantto know… heh heh…
 Viper
: Well?
 Mrs. Tagge
: We have a map. [
Takes a map out of nowhere
]See, we are here. [
Points to a blip
] That little blip is usand that [
Points to another blip
] is the exit.
 Viper
: Oh. I’m sorry that I questioned you.
 Mr. Tagge
: It’s okay Cole. I’m sure you’re a little shockedthat you have you’re parents back.
 Viper
: Or maybe a lot, and there was something that EMMAsaid.
 Mr. Tagge
: And what did she say?
 Viper
: It’s actually kind of funny now. She said that youguys weren’t really my parents.
