Mayor Bloomberg's project looking at the future of the global Media industry, its implications for NYC, and the steps NYC needs to take to strengthen the Media cluster in NYC. I was NYC's lead for economic strategy, and worked closely with NYC's private sector leadership, in particular - the project chairs (Tim Armstrong, CEO and Chairman of AOL; Jeffrey L. Bewkes, Chairman and CEO of Time Warner; Peter O. Price, President and CEO of Premiere Previews; Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP Group). I also worked closely with the Media.NYC.2020 advisory group and the global management-consulting firm Oliver Wyman (represented by Martin Kon, Head of the Media and Entertainment practice). This project resulted in multiple initiatives, including NYC BigApps and Applied Sciences NYC
