Description

This booklet illustrates how easy it is to use scripture, however well-intentioned, to support something that in fact is based upon a lack of understanding, or in some cases, deliberate bending of scripture to suit one's preferred interpretation. It examines argumentation typically used by Christian teachers to keep women out of positions of influence over men in all spheres of life. There is much that has traditionally been glossed over, ignored, or deliberately suppressed in these many centuries since the Bible was completed. We will endeavor specifically to take a close look at those scriptures which have been used to suppress women in Christian ministry, in society, and in the home.
