(Your flyer should show why you should be on (or want to return to)the Yearbook Staff. You are trying to sell yourself to us. Your “ad” should coverwhy you want to work on the yearbook and what qualities you have that wouldmake you a GREAT and FUN addition to our team. Be as creative as possible.)

What yearbook position(s) are you interested in?
General Staff
(design pages, complete spreads, sell advertising, take pictures, conductinterviews, write captions, assist with distribution of pictures and the yearbook, design layouts,meet deadlines.)
Business Manager
(Sell ad space to parents, students and businesses; organize and designads; develop a plan to sell yearbooks, complete the senior ad section; communicate yearbookinformation to parents, students, and teachers through announcements, posters, phone calls,etc.)
Approx. 3 people will make up this team. Each team member will still complete at least 1spread.
Section Editors:
Section editors are responsible for the content of their section of theyearbook from planning to completion and ensuring that all aspects of their section arecovered in a fair and consistent way. Section editors will finalize all spread assignments,review all spread reports, offer assistance and suggestions for improvement, edit all pages andprepare for editor(s)-in-chief. Section editor positions include: Student Life, Sports, Academics,Clubs/Organizations, Index, Advertising and People.
(Co) Editor-in-Chief: Reserved for returning members
. Ultimately, it is this position thatis responsible for all final decisions affecting the yearbook. Editor(s) in Chief are expected toplan the ladder, schedule all spreads, edit and approve all spreads, and assist the adviser withall matters pertaining to the yearbook, from training staff to shipping deadlines. Alsoresponsible for completing the senior section. (
