One layer of Pour is 267.44 M3 considering that the layer of 350
mm is maintained through out the pour.

The completion time for placement of one layer of concrete has
exceeded even up to 10 Hours which clearly implies that poured
concrete is set before the consecutive layer is laid thereupon and
cold joints formation has taken place.

The SD and CoV values of CCS shall be obtained at the age of 28
days and the results shall convey only CCS of the concrete
poured and not the cold joint formation in the raft.

The cold joint formation in the raft can be detected by appropriate
NDT.

A separate meeting with reputed Design and Engineering
consultant involved in R and D works is suggested if not agreed
upon the observation made by FQA , APL, Mundra.
