January - February 2009 Simona Caba Afrika Wa Yesu – Inhaminga, Mozambique
Dearest and precious friends and family,It will be a wonderful year. I cannot wait for “tomorrow”,to see where God is taking us. In the same time I am alsoenjoying the day of today with all my heart. Not only Iwill say that God is here with us but now I can say that weare with Him in HeavenlyPlaces. He moved us with Himand I don’t want to live in thesame earthly way old life. Iused to enjoy for glimpses of His manifested Kingdom andPresence. And living upon therevelation He will give mewhen I was in His presence –for the next days or evenmonths. But now I believe instaying with Him, living in Heavenly Places everymoment of my life. This way I will know His secrets andplans for me and the people He brings in my life. I heardHis Call for this intimacy with Him since I was a child.He was speaking to me the same thing in different waysdepending on the level I was. But the essence of His Callwas the same. He wants to seat with me in Heaven, beingpart of His Counsel, sharing always with others His heartand dreams. When I look back I see that I wasn’t ready topay the price to get there: giving up on good for His best.That was the hardest decision to make. But I am readynow and I know that it will not be easy and it will be aprocess but I am into it, I am going for it!!!
Youth Conferences
lastyear were good, I learneda lot, we saw youthcoming to know Jesus inintimacy but I believeGod has much more forus beginning with thisyear. I want to see youthcoming as a holy army totake over their nation. Iwant to see themdelivered, healed and fullof the Holy Spirit.From all of the conferences from last year I enjoyed themost the one we had here in Inhaminga. And that wasbecause we had to build on something that we alreadystarted before, we worked with our own youth; we alreadyministered to majority of them at different levels.Also we had more help from the Mozambicans: team andyouth. Mariano and Lino were helping so much and Ienjoyed seeing them training youth to do their work. I amlooking forward to the day that the youth we are investingso much here in Inhaminga will do everything by themselves. We had the help of 3 Afrika Wa Yesu evangelists:Josias, Rito and Lucas. Also some of our Bible Schoolgraduates were taking responsibilities and they were sucha blessing. I was so grateful to God and so happy to seeSantos (from our youth group Inhaminga that alsograduated last year our Bible School and VocationalSchool) serving and ministering to his own generation.He is so gifted to teach and preach as a true Mozambicanleader.
Messica
It was a very goodidea to spend sometime together with ouryouth group in a very special and beautiful place. We hadfun, praise and pray together and share our hearts andplans for the future. I was surprised to see some of themthat would never speak or come out from their placetaking initiative and just blossom in everything washappening.All of them came from there changed at some level. It isvery important to spend time together. It opens them up.Two of them: Joao and Abednego decided by them selvesto start teaching the children from the village to read andwrite and help them with their homework.
