Payrollhandling fees count only if paid to a FL payrollcompany.RE: SALARIES, WAGES & OTHERCOMPENSATION: The first $400,000 paid to aFlorida resident employee is considered a qualifiedexpenditure. No additional rebate is given for anyamount in excess of $400,000. Any payment includedon a FL resident employee's check is considered partof their total salary, wage and other compensation,including PER DIEM for food, housing or locationexpenses. These are qualified expenditures not onlyfor the percentage rebate, but for reaching the$400,000 limit per employee. Fringes are included inthe $400,000 salary limit. Any contractual obligationmade to a FL resident employee that is not cash, buthas monetary value, should be included in calculatingthe total salary of the employee.
