My thought Hard work is film director then smart work is actor. So actor (smart worker) only get all the reputation compared to the film director (Hard worker). But film director (hard worker) knows all the things. Some times film director (hard worker) may be act the film then become the actor (smart worker).

As per my opinion, hard work is something in which we put in a lot of hours and effort working and get good results and success. Smart work is something in which we upgrade our knowledge to do the work at a faster pace than expected and coming out with success. So, both are positive, but today's modern era expects everyone to do Smart work because Time is less and lots needs to be done.

This is the smartwork.!!!so interviewer gathering answers for his next interview. (small quote:bees gatering honey by hardwork, but man takes it by his brilliant ideas) oh! I told the truth.

In my view, hard work defines that the work is hard and smartwork defines that the work is smart. For example: To reach top floor of a multi-storied building, taking staircase should be described as hardwork and taking the lift should be described as smartwork.

For every smart work ever done, someone had to do the hard work first. So the difference lies only in the fact that the one who did all the hard work first to generate all those efficient solution patterns is called a HARD WORKER and the person using those same patterns to simplify his work is called a SMART WORKER. Hard Work Smart Work are complementary and both are required.

Hard work has something to do with diligence and working long hours. It needs habitual execution. This will lead to skill development which in turn will lead to smart work - creatively working in a shorter period of time. Combine the two and it will be fabulous.

Case 1: When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity (ink won't flow down to the writing surface). To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12 million. They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C. And what did the Russians do...?? They used a pencil. Case 2: One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese management was the case of the empty soap box, which happened in one of Japan's biggest cosmetics companies. The company received a complaint that a consumer had bought a soap box that was empty. Immediately, the authorities isolated the problem to the assembly line, which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department. For some reason, one soap box went through the assembly line empty. The management asked its engineers to solve the problem. Post-haste, the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people to watch all the soap boxes that passed through the line to make sure they were not empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast, but they spent an exorbitant amount to do so. But, when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was posed with the same problem, he did not get into complications of X-rays, etc., but instead came out with another solution. He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it at the assembly line. He switched the fan on, and as each soap box passed the fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.

I think all is clear now!!!

We can also take assumption of Donkey as a hard worker and Horse as a smart worker. Or. Both the things are incomplete without each other. Not only the hard work is sufficient but also some smart work is also required for the goal achivement. We can say some efficiency (smartness) is required for the effectiveness of work.

According to me, now days one should stick to smart work rather than hard work because if you are educated and have simple common sense we can simply make the job done in less hours. Let's take an eg, suppose we need to send some physical copy to someone, so what need to rush to post-office we can simply mailed it, so our work is done as well as we can save our time. Basically one motto should be to complete the task in less time and in successful manner.

Smart and intelligent people who know the correct technique to do there work well and compete parallely to hard workers are alwas called smart workers. Possibly smart worker are more recomended now a days for there quick solving skills. So better be a smart worker than a hard worker.
