We are aiming for18 000. This year we are hoping to add additional musical instruments, outdoorequipment and listening centres.Vouchers will be in store from 2

June. Vouchers should be sent in withchildren or handed in at the school office.HomeworkOur new booklet containing homework advice is almost ready. In the meantime pleasecontinue to support us by ensuring homework is completed. Some children always havetheir tasks completed but we have a small minority whose work is never done anddiaries are not signed. Homework does give children extra practice and helps reachattainment. Please ask your child what work he/she has and help them to hand it in ontime.Staffing IssuesAs a result of ongoing back problems Mrs West, Senior Clerical has been absent from work for several weeks. At last some supply cover has been secured which will make atremendous difference to office administration.Last week two of the School Primary Assistants were absent which meant lunches werenot dealt with as swiftly as usual. However I feel we did the best we could in thecircumstances. The children are now into a good routine in the mornings and thissystem does save about 20 minutes teaching time.
