Preschool Time is a free drop-in program for children age three to five. Their parents or caregivers can stay or not during the class. The children will enjoy stories, songs, finger-plays and rhymes, plus a craft. Enjoy needlecraft with the Yarn Club. Beginners are welcome. In a comprehensive and clear-minded fashion, the film breaks it down into key issues: reproductive rights, violence against women, child care, etc. Archival and recent interviewees include Adrienne Clarkson, Henry Morgentaler and a number of prominent politicians and feminist thinkers. * Join the group to talk about books and share the joys of reading. Joint the spring break event with Success by Six Community & Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator, LeRae Haynes and Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Puppeteer Claire Schreiner. Join in the silly songs, listen and interact with some great stories, enjoy a puppet show & do some crafts. All ages welcome! (Register at the front desk) Meet in the Programme Room for Wii games, music and snacks.
