Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar are some of the key cities of the state.
There are eight agro climatic zones in the state thatsupport cultivation of a wide range of crops.
The most commonly spoken language of the state isGujarati. Hindi and English are the other Indianlanguages used.
Gujarat is located on the Western coast of India andhas the longest coastline of 1,600 km in the country.The state shares its border with Rajasthan, MadhyaPradesh, Maharashtra and the Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
