We've made so many changes to themagazine that we simply can't wait to tellyou all about them!
Bookmarks
As you can see on the left (if you use AdobeReader), we now have PDF bookmarks toeach article to improve navigation.
Less Lag
Issue 14 was blighted by some ratherhorrible lag, so we've worked hard toeliminate it, resulting in what should be amuch smoother scrolling experience.
Vector Graphics
To decrease the file size and retain anextremely smooth look, most backgroundsand decorative boxes are now vectorgraphics.
Open Source
We've switched to the open source DTPsoftware Scribus and we've used GIMP andInkscape for the raster and vector graphicsrespectively. In fact, even the font for thewriting you're reading is open source!
New Team Members
A lot of shuffling around has been done tothe team, including Tim as editor and severalnew fantastic writers who all hope to writecontent that you will enjoy.

Background Layer
However, if you still experience some lag (orprefer a white background) you can turn off the background by clicking on the layers tabto the left and deactivating the background.
Exclusives
Exclusives are now mixed in with similararticles instead of in their own category, wehope this improves the flow of the magazine.
Reviews
The review system that we used to havewhere we ranked it in three sections andthen gave an average has now beenchanged, we have removed the final overallscore as we felt that just reading the reviewalong with the ranking of sound, graphics, gameplay and originality are enough togauge a good opinion on the game.
GM Classics
To highlight some of the best GM games fromthe past to make sure they're neverforgotten, we have a new regular feature. It'llinclude information about the game, it'sdevelopment, and what made it stand out atthe time.
The news column will return next issue.
