The Match School Foundation is on the forefront of education reform and is replicating the Match Charter PublicSchool's full-time, in-school, professional tutoring corps in other schools and districts across America. The highlyselective program is a one-year, full-time professional tutoring fellowship, where elite college graduates workintensively with students in small groups. The program features two locations
Boston and Lawrence
with twodifferent applications for tutoring.
Fellows focus intently on individualizing math instruction and building personal and meaningful relationships withtheir students. They will receive all instructional math materials, developed by a site-specific curriculum writer, withclose alignment to state standards, assessments, and instruction particular to the school.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all 50 fellows are hired.
Applicants must be recently college graduates who:
Are interested in education and wish to pursue a year of service;
Are looking for a gap year of service before medical school, law school, or other graduate programs; and
Are interested in a career in education policy who want a one-year opportunity to experience life on theground in urban schools in an authentic and meaningful way.
