I’m not afraid of commit-ment – I’m afraid of what comesafter.Spending the rest of your life with someone sounds great, but getting there is always morethan you bargain for. Poppingthe question is the biggestresponsibility I feel I have; after that, many guys, like myself,take a hands-off approach.We aren’t the ones who weredreaming of white dresses and
pretty fowers since childhood,
so we just hope to step back andlet our ladies do their thing.That’s not the wayrelationships work, however.It’s a team effort every day, so be prepared to take on everysingle step of the wedding process together. Thankfully,we’ve made it a bit easier for both of you with our three-pagewedding guide (pages 36-37,40), sharing stories, tips, andchecklists to make your big daygo smoothly.So don’t be afraid of forgetting anything - be afraidof tripping down the aisle andother things beyond our control.
