First published in the 1990s, SCUE's The Practical Scholar: A Roadmap to Penn remains the only extensive academic knowledge resource made for Penn students, by Penn students. It is a useful handbook that can help you find the answers to some of the most common, and important, questions about Penn. Use the Roadmap as its title implies: as a guide to the numerous academic resources available at Penn. The next edition will be published in August 2009 by SCUE's Working Group on Academic Advising, and distributed to every incoming freshman and transfer student at New Student Orientation.
