Did Liddy take a look at his letter before sending it to Geithner. See paragraph 5 "form instead of from" Spell check is not perfect. For someone in his position, notwithstanding the stress, I would think that more care would be taken. I though these employees were the "best and brightest"!!

What kind of idiot would draft a bonus agreement without including language tying the amount of the bonus to performance of the employee? Secondly, the executive compensation committee which "independently" recommended the bonuses should be examined to determine exactly how independent they actually are.
