The voice of forest, And the song of the wind. I am the keeper of the gates that open to the Mounds to the other worlds. I am fire that keeps you warm, and cooks The hunt for the family. I am the Son, the Brother and the Father. With my staff and Shield I protect the innocent And with my lady I bring justice to the unjust. Every turn I am born to live, create myself And die to be reborn in the cold of winter Where I bring warmth, laughter and life unto the world With my Mother, Sister, and Wife. I bring compassion in strength, Love in passion, hope in the dark, And peace during grief. All this I do for you and for the Divine Star Goddess, Who is the Mother of us All, including my self.
