March Balmacewen Intermediate School has a sportsinterchange against Southland Boys. Your son has been selected to competein one of the following sports at the listed venues on the back of thisnewsletter. It is really important that we are good hosts to Southland Boys. Therefore weare going to provide a substantial afternoon tea for all of the visitingcompetitors. As part of the responsibility of being a top sports person and representingtheir school with pride EVERY competitor needs to bring a plate of afternoontea type food to school on the Thursday morning of the exchange and drop itinto the staffroom. The plate needs to be a finger food eg. muffins, sandwiches, cakes, crackers and hummus, savouries etc. It must not be apacket of potato chips or a packet of biscuits. All students will compete in their correct PE gear, apart from the cricket teamwho need to wear their ‘whites’.As always we welcome your support and encouragement during thisexchange and look forward to seeing you at the games.Kind regardsLauren Roney(Teacher in Charge of Sport)
