Extract from the catalog describing the art work Changing Landscapes by Maurice Maguire.

Artist and cultural geographer Maurice Maguire mapped the route of the canal tunnel under the Kings Norton Three Estates in Birmingham and marked it with a blue line and other drawings /information on the surface. Then with artists Paul Conneally, Rob Colbourne, Rita Fletcher and fifty residents 'Walked the Line. This short extract describes the surveying, drawing and walking with the last two pages being the phrases and fragments - three line and one line haiku coaxed out and grabbed from the air by Conneally as the group 'walked the line'
