Momentum Lab Using Tracker
In this lab we will be analyzing a collision using a computer program which will allow use to create a position vs time graph to find the velocity before and after the collision.1.Head to http://www.glencoe.com/sec/science/internet_lab/olc.php?olcChapter=8092.Download the five video clips towards the bottom of the page.3.The first video clip helps you establish the mass of each object.4.In this lab you will “perform” four collisions. Please create a data table that will include blanksfor the mass, initial velocity, final velocity, and momentum of the two colliding objects. There isa close example on the page above.5.Watch clip 1 and record the four masses.6.Load up the Tracker program so that you see the screen inFigure 1.
