I am am old man and I can tell you this wasn't written by one. It was written by a thirty something guy who has never had kids or a real job. you are right on the money. I'm currently Serving active duty as a Navy Corpsman for the Marines. and i couldn't agree with you more. i would like to point out, that the military does get you ready for life's bullshit. if you can handle military bullshit, you can handle anything that Civilian life can throw at you.
