The Moorestown U15A BlackLacrosse team opened its seasonwith a pair of wins recently at theBattle of Fort Washington.In the first game, the team jumped out to a quick leadagainst Central Bucks behindfirst-half goals by Ryan Finley,Josh Fauvell and Ryan Pozega.Moorestown poured it on in thesecond half with three more goalsnotched by Fauvell along with asecond score by Finley and addi-tional goals by Kade Chostowskiand Sean Carden. Peter LaDelfaand Dan Rohrbach each had threeassists. Goalie Max Blank turnedaway ten shots in securing a 9-3victory for Moorestown.In the second game,Moorestown faced another squadfrom Central Bucks and dominat-ed the game from start to finish.Trevor Jones led all scorers withthree goals and Chrostowski,Rohrbach, LaDelfa, Judah Hicks,Finley, Matt Harrop and StevenWeissman all tallied goals, andJones and Josh Buck tied for theground ball lead. Kevin Travisadded an assist. Max Blank shutout the opponents with Bobby Gar-rison and Reid Greer providingstout defense in leadingMoorestown to an easy 12-0 victory.
