Description
A huge collection of ancient Indian stories, translated from Sanskrit.
This text is currently being prepared for publication in the public domain at Project Gutenberg Distributed Proofreaders (DP) (www.pgdp.net). The following is the result after the scanning and first proofreading round (P1). This is a temporary working document, but may be useful until the complete proofreading and formatting process has been finished.
Some diacritics are marked in a special way (see further info at the above link to DP).
Proofreaders notes are marked as [**note].
Both will be removed/converted at the end.
Probably a html as well as a txt version will be published in the end, but as there are long queues at DP, it may take a while. Therefore this temporary text.
NB! After the upload of this file, the program manager of the work at DP, Jeroen Hellingman, has published another preview of the two volumes:
Volume 1:
www.gutenberg.ph/previews/bhatta/KSK...
Volume 2:
www.gutenberg.ph/previews/bhatta/KSK...
This preview is better (concerning e.g. diacritics), and will be updated from time to time.
After the completion of the project, the above links may not work, but then the project will become available at Project Gutenberg.
Volume 2 will be uploaded separately. (There were problems with conversion of the big file with volume 1-2 in one file).
