One hell of a book, goes into great depth. Thanks for sharing this with us. Incidentelly, for those not comfortable with physically building your own computer, you can use a web based system to design your own pc, component by component - one such as this one >> http://www.computerplanet.co.uk/custom/ for example.

Thank you for putting this up. I'm working on designing my own Z80 computer at the moment and your book is exactly what I needed.

Much thanks to Steve Ciarcia, Sean Donnelly, and Bill Bradford for all their great efforts in getting this seminal work of home brew computing published and freely available for all to enjoy. Home brew computing is a wonderful hobby and this book has been an inspiration to me personally. I find it very educational and frequently refer to this book for insight on making home brew computers. If you are interested in making your own home brew Z80 CP/M computer please join us on the N8VEM home brew computing project. While not exactly like Steve's design it is similar in that you can build it yourself and have your own home brew computer. All information for software, hardware, and design is freely and publically available. PCBs are available for minimal cost as well. Please join us and keep the home brew computing hobby alive and well for future generations to enjoy. Thanks Steve, Sean, and Bill for all your great works! Have a nice day! Andrew Lynch, 73 de N8VEM
