FOREWORD
I am a Christian beginning to realize that God is my loving Father in heaven as proven by the death of His only Beloved Son as Jesus the Christ. In the unfolding pages, all negative connotations have been made in reference to me. I do not speak for or of others. This is a result of personal experiences and observations. This is by no means a sermon of any sort nor does it serve to generalize the Christian experience. I am no Bible teacher or pastor. I am the beloved child of God getting to know (as a privilege) Him as a loving Father. If you have been blessed by this e-book, let all the glory and praise redound to my loving Father in heaven in Jesus Name. If you find anything amiss, let God judge my heart.

Fear of God
I fear God not because He is an angry or morose God. I fear living a life unconscious of Him. I fear what will become of me when I allow myself to walk out of His protective ambit or armpit. Why armpit? It is because I am covered under His wings. [Psalm 91:4]. Am I making fun of God? No. I know my Father God has a good sense of humour. He is loving and fun-loving yet firm. Thats my Father God as revealed by Jesus the Christ, His only Beloved Son in Whom His soul delights. [Luke 3:22].

My Value
For God values and cherishes me so much as to give up His only Beloved Son to tell me, Look my beloved child, this is how much you mean to me. [Romans 5:8].

Godly Life
The Cross is the only reason and motivation to live a life in tandem with Gods counsel as found in His word, the Bible. His loving counsel runs against the grain of every human convention. It baffles me that I am out of worldly alignment; I am in a world of my own. I am beside myself. [Mark 3:21]. But that is only because I am Gods very own, a peculiar people. [1 Peter 2:9].

Temptation
He alone knows just how much I am tempted to show that I can play the game too. And that I can play it much better than anyone I know. Yet there is a loving restraint in Romans 6:21, Matthew 10:16 and Matthew 16:26.

Peace
Do not be bothered about what other people may say or be unduly concerned of what they may think. [John 14:27]. The Cross lifts me way above the pressure, the constant pressing. [Ephesians 6:10-17]. Be quietly confident of my assurance under the mighty hand of the King of kings. [Revelation 19:16]. He Who can be bothered to count my hair is working all things for my ultimate good. [Luke 12:7, Romans 8:28].

Walking with God

Walking with God is not about emotions. Neither is it about circumstances or even physical blessings. Adam and Eve were abundantly blessed but yet they did not choose to walk with God. That decision was made in a perfect setting before sin was present. [Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12, 19]. It is all about Gods word or counsel or advice; His Omniscience. As the Creator and rightful Owner of the entire cosmos, He alone knows exactly what is going on. He alone possesses the panoramic view of all things while mine is at best linear.

Obedience
Obedience has somewhat been portrayed as a by-word or an act of works to attain salvation. God alone knows how the world is spinning out of control. He has given me a safety plan in the form of the Holy Bible [a book set apart for His beloved children] to dodge all the miseries that are peppered all over the world. Salvation is by Christ Jesus alone. Not adhering to the safety plan does not negate that. It only leads me to suffer needlessly. Every time I let the word of God reign, I enter into His kingdom of love as His righteousness. And when I do that, all the things that I need shall be added to me. [Matthew 6:33]. Things that God alone knows that I really and truly need; not what I think I need. [Jeremiah 29:11]. Shalom.

Note from Author

Anyone can interpret the scriptures in favour of an adopted stand [2 Peter 3:16]. I find that the only constant in the Bible is Gods love for me. I find the love of God is beyond any doubt the crimson thread running through the Bible from cover to cover. Therefore, I have chosen to read and interpret the Bible in the greater context of His love for me. God is love [1 John 4:8]. His Spirit is therefore love. To read the Bible in the Spirit is to read it in His love for me. This is my personal conviction. This is how I enjoy my Bible. This is my stand. When the Lord returns, He will weigh my stand according to my heart [1 Samuel 16:7]. I am the beloved child of God that Jesus the Christ has made me to be [2 Corinthians 5:21] in the process of getting to know Gods love for me. If you have been blessed by this literature, let all the glory and praise redound to our loving Father God. If there is anything you find amiss, let God judge my heart.
