The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

(Proverbs 1:7-9)

Weekly Theme: “The Ministry of Youth”

1.Pray for the youth pastors Manny Low and Chris Chu in their serving youth ministry.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead our church members to build up a family altar to praise andworship God together as a family; Pray that the parents’ serving God at church can set upgood examples for their children, and bring blessings to their children.3.Pray that God will keep our youths away from temptation and evildoing. Pray that God willlead our youths to long for His words, to walk with Him, to respect parents, and lead parentsto discipline their children with heavenly wisdom.4.Pray for the four current church’s key goals: church expansion, church planting, pastor search, and new elder nomination.

English Ministry / Youth Ministry :

Motive.

Pray that candidates would come with a desire to know God and be known by Him, and noother reason.

Understanding.

Pray that baptism candidates would understand that relationship with God comes byHis grace alone, not by any good works (including baptism). Pray that they would really recognizetheir sinfulness and uselessness without God, and embrace the love of a Savior who would love andembrace them anyway.

The work of the Holy Spirit.

Pray that God would use this baptism class and interview process tomold, refine, and search out the hearts of each person candidating for baptism. Pray that He would personally speak to each of them in the course of the next month

Please pray our youth as they prepare for the 30 hour famine. Pray that they would know the God'sheart for justice and compassion in the world.
