Link Building – One Way and Two Way Link Building
A better Google Page Rank (PR) will improve your Search Engineranking, and therefore deliver increased traffic to your site. Gettinglinks into your website from other sites is a great way to increaseyour site’s PR score.Incoming links from other quality websites with PR4 and aboveshould be your main target. If you don't have the Google Toolbarinstalled, you should definitely install it now - it will help youidentify the websites and directories that will be the most beneficialto your own.Search Engines like to see a natural progression in link building.Having 2,000 links suddenly appear from nowhere appears ‘smelly’ and is likely to get you penalised. The first thing to do is create a text file with your link details in it.This is so you can just cut and paste this stuff as you need it.We recommend creating five sets of different keyword links so youcan alternate them. You will need:Title (This is normally the keyword you want to rank for)DescriptionURL (in the case of Link exchanges this doesn’t have to be thehomepage)Keep this file open or accessible from your desktop.

Some important information about Linksbefore we start…
For our purposes, a link to your website that holds value is going tobe a keyword link. This is a text link that has your major keywordswithin it.For example:If you had an Audi dealership then your major keyword would beAudi. A keyword text link could be and look like:Audi DealerThese are the links we want. You would see the html code as<a href=”http://mysite.com”>Audi Dealer</a>A super text link would include a Title tag and the code would looklike this:<a href=http://mysite.comtitle=”Audi Dealer in Kent”>AudiDealer</a>This would add some more relevance to your link. Also please note that:www.mysite.commysite.commysite.com/mysite.com/index.htmwhile they look the same and go to the same place, they are alltreated as separate domains by the Search Engines.Be consistent when linking to your site!
WARNING: While you will want to focus on getting links foryour major keywords so that you can rank higher in theSearch Engine rankings ensure you mix up your text linksand spread them out a bit so not to draw too much attentionto yourself and make it look as natural as possible.
Good Luck! On we go….
