This section is about Christ's first year of ministry. Basically it is about his baptism & temptation. The temptation account is interesting is still about what we read in the Bible except it also touch on the lure of woman .Then it is about how he recruited James & John who are followers of John the Baptist. There is a section about john that talked of his purity of heart hence he ended up as the beloved disciple. Then the recruitment of Andrew & Peter who are partners of the sons of Zebedee who are fisherman. The initial doubt of Peter. Next he recruited Phillip & Nathaniel introduced by Peter. Then he was invited to a wedding at Cana where he did his first miracle. After Cana he proceeded to Jerusalem where he drives out the merchants & earned the wrath of the Temple authorities. Judas from Isacariot & Thomas witnessed the incident & healing of a leper then they volunteered to be his disciples.Jesus procastinated a lot in taking Judas as a disciple . Further along in the non free section there is the story of the curing of Peter's mother in law ,she did serve them but was not happy that Jesus took her son in law as a disciple. Simon the zealot was afflicted with Leprosy & cured by Jesus & became a disciple. Jesus first year he spend a lot of time looking for the shepherds who were present at his birth. As he has escape the massacre of the children at Bethlehem the shepherds took the blame & were ostracised by the citizens of Bethlehem .Many suffered inpoverty & were hoping to see the Christ child as an adult ,remembering the glorious day when the angels announced his birth. well altough the stories may not be true but the author managed to string along the story very well.
