Aside from its religious usage, frangipani is actually very beneficial as traditional medicine. Balinese people often drink infusion of frangipani petals as tea. It has diuretic effect and accelerates secretion of body’s metabolism residues because the flower contains alkaloid, steroid, tanin, flavonoid dan saponin. People with constipation are suggested to drink frangipani infusion to ease the problem.
