Nick has a combination of twenty-five years of experience in product design andengineering for consumer, medical and industrial products. He has been a businessowner since 1999 when he started Great Lakes Engineering & Design, Inc., anengineering consulting firm. Nick has authored/co-authored 16 patents, along withfour provisional patent applications, in the last two years. He received his associatedegree in electrical engineering from the Electronics Technology Institute and thenwent on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering fromCleveland State University.
While flying home from an SIA trade show in Denver, Nick noticed a gentlemanacross the aisle. His laptop barely fit on the seatback tray as he struggled to use atraditional mouse on the limited space of his laptop. Right then, the idea came to Nick
wouldn’t it be cool if I could control my PC functions just by moving my
finger?The inventor immediately pulled out his project notebook and started drawing
and the concept for a wireless, 3-D mouse that fits on your finger was born
How does it work
Mycestro is a 3-D mouse, which means it has the ability to track hand motion in3-D space.
Mycestro is activated by your thumb. When you’re not touching the Mycestro,
the cursor and cursor function pause until you begin to use it again.
