For the second year, area fire departments have agreed to host an area-wide food drive to collect much needed food to be distributed to arearesidents needing help in putting food on their tables. The stations will be open to receive donations of non-perishable food from9am to 1:00pm. All food donated will go to the five local SSKP pantries. At a time of year when donations are typically low, this food will restockthe pantries and ensure that everyone in our communities will have aplace at the table. Please join the effort, either by donating food, holding a food drive withinyour neighborhood, workplace or club or volunteering to help at the event. For more information on how you can help, contact Phyllis at 860-388-1988 or pcappuccio@shorelinesoupkitchens.org
