PREFACE
These drills are taken from the DLI basic course and revised for current word usage and context. The use of drills is often underutilized when learning a second language. A musician practices a songover and over again focusing on different aspects each time; one time for correctness of notes, once fordynamics, again for timing etc… In the same way the language learner must repeat their work overand over again, each time practicing one aspect of the sentence; first pronunciation, next for correctemphasis, again for intonation and then for speed and fluency. Each aspect is important to speakingwell and the multiple practices help the brain to retain the information being used. These drills can beused to simplify the drilling process and give a start for drilling practice. Enjoy as you learn Turkish!Kolay gelsin.
