potencialidad de la HDBCA para sustituir la harina de pescado en dietas para peces y as reducir costos de produccin.
Palabras claves: A. purpuratus, O. niloticus, crecimiento, supervivencia y costos. ABSTRACT Three diets were evaluated, replacing in 25, 50 and 75% the flour of fish by the flour of soft waste made of Argopecten purpuratus Scallop (HDBCA) added to a control diet. The formulation of the diets were done by using the program ALITTE, later, it was applied the quality control of the gotten food. It was evaluated the growth in weight and size (VCPVCT), the specific rate of growth in weight and size (TCP-TCT), the condition factor (K) and the survival according to Martinezs methodology, (1987). They were used twenty alevins of Oreochromis niloticus tilapia nilotica per experimental unit, using average weight of 0,65 0,04 g. and average size of 3,20 0,07 cm, being established a design completely at random with three repetitions. The feed was of three times a day with a rate of feeding of 5% of total biomass and the experiment lasted 90 days. The average weight and size is increased during all the treatments, being this increase in weight meaningfully different from the 60th day, in the size from the 15th day, the highest values in the average weight and size of O. niloticus were obtained with the control diet and T2; when the results were contrasted by using the ANOVA and the medias comparison test of Tukey, they werent found any meaningful differences in (p>0,05) in VCT, TCP, TCT, the survival and K, being the condition factor higher than 2,00 in all the treatments, showing a good body sate of the organism; they were found meaningful differences (p<0,05) in VCP. The obtained results indicate the potentiality of HDBCA to replace the flour of fish in diets for fish and thus reduce production costs. Key words: A purpuratus, O. niloticus, growth, survival and costs.
