Site 35 contained evidence relating to Early Neolithic ‘ritual’ activity in the form of deliberate deposition of artefacts in pits. Activity continued into the Middle Neolithic with a partial ring ditch associated with pottery being recorded. The next phase of activity related to a small scale, and transient, iron bloomery on the site dated to the Iron age.
