Postgraduate Education Centre,Royal Hampshire County Hospital, WinchesterPresented by the Wessex Homeopathic Medical Group You are warmly invited to a day of Homeopathy presented byDoctors,Dentists and Vets working in the Wessex region. You willlearn about the history of Homeopathy and its basic principlesand philosophy. We will present the latest evidence showingpositive benefits in a range of conditions. We will coverHomeopathic Pharmacy and prescribing. There will be video casesand presentations showing the application of Homeopathy inGeneral Practice,Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry. There will belive case-taking and presentations on five commonly precribedHomeopathic medicines. Following this will be case work andsmall group work which will equip you to use the five medicines inyour own practice.
 The fee for the Introductory Day is £30.00. This includesmorning and afternoon refreshments and lunch. It alsoincludes a 5-medicine Homeopathic Remedy Kit which willcontain the five medicines which will be covered.For members of the Wessex G.P. Educational Trust the fee isonly £10 (to cover catering costs) as the Trust is very kindlysupporting this event and will pay the education fee of £20.CME accreditation has been applied for.
 
 The Wessex Homeopathic Medical Group has been inexistence for over twenty years. The Group is open todoctors, dentists and vets with an interest in Homeopathyand we meet on a regular basis for presentations on variousaspects of Homeopathic practice. There is a wide range of experience within the Group, from complete beginners tothose with 25 years full-time experience.We meet at the Post-Graduate Education Centre at the RoyalHampshire County Hospital in Winchester. The Group isfriendly and inclusive and our purpose in meeting is both toshare our enthusiasm and experiences with this wonderfullyeffective healing method and also to welcome those who areonly just beginning to learn about Homeopathy.Homeopathy has been in existence as a complete philosophyand practice of medicine for over two hundred years. Aprovision for Homeopathy was incorporated into the NationalHealth Service at its inception by Act of Parliament. TheFaculty of Homeopathy is the body which oversees thepractice of Homeopathy by medically-trained practitioners inthe UK and the Wessex Homeopathic Medical Group is theRegional Affiliate to the Faculty.
