Couture New Haven Model CompetitionOfficial Competition Rules & Regulations

(“Official Rules”)

No purchase necessary.1. ELIGIBILITYThe

Couture New Haven Model Competition (the “Competition”)

is open only to legal residentsof the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia but excluding all other U.S. territoriesand possessions). Participants under the age of 18 must receive permission from their parents orguardian prior to entry. You are not eligible to win this Competition if you are (a) an employee,agent, or representative of the Broadway

and Chapel Merchants Association (the “Association”)

or of any of the members of the Association or of any entities related to Association or itsmembers; or (b).a member of the immediate family of or member of the same household as oneof the above listed individuals. Subject to all applicable, federal, state and local laws and

regulations. Void where prohibited. Entry in this Competition constitutes entrant’s full and

unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Regulations.2. ENTRYNO ENTRY FEE OR PURCHASE NECESSARY. Only one entry per person is authorized.Entrants entering more than once for the Competition will be automatically disqualified.The Competition period begins on March 28, 2009 at 12 PM Eastern Time (ET) and ends onMarch 28, 2009 at 5 PM ET. Individuals can only apply in person. To enter, come toWishlist at264 York Street, New Haven, CT on March 28, 2009 between 12 pm and 2 pm to fill out theregistration form. All fields are mandatory unless indicated as optional. All entrants mustpresent valid picture identification. No registrations forms will be accepted after 2 pm on March28

. Entrants who have submitted a timely, complete and legible registration form will beassigned a time to report to 278 Park Street, New Haven, CT between 2 PM and 5 PM on March28

where they will audition for the Competition judges. Entries that are incomplete or illegiblewill be disqualified.Winners must be available April 3, 2009 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm to film the modelingsegment on CT Style. In the event that any winner is not available on the dates specified, he orshe will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.3. SELECTION OF WINNERSAll eligible entries will be judged by a panel of judges consisting of employees of or consultants

to the Associations and will be judged according to the following criteria (the “JudgingCriteria”):

Poise;Personality;Photogenic Appearance; andOverall Healthy Appearance.

Based on the scoring of the Judging Criteria, 1 grand prize winner and 4 runner-up prize winnerswill be selected. The decisions of the judges will be final and without appeal. The winners willbe contacted on Sunday March 29, 2009 by the Association. Winners will be notified bytelephone or at the email address they indicated on their registration form when entering theCompetition. If an entrant cannot be reached by 5 PM on March 29, 2009, the prize will be

forfeited and may, in the Association’s sole discretion, be awarded to an alternate who will be

subject to disqualification in the same manner.Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received and the relative skillsand qualifications of the entrant under the Judging Criteria.4. PRIZESThe grand prize winner will win a featur

ed modeling spot on CT Style’s April 3, 2009 edition, a

free fashion photo shoot with a professional photographer, a $100 gift certificate to Wishlist, and

will become the face of the Association’s new ad campaign “Couture New Haven.” Four

runners-up will

be models for CT Style’s April 3, 2009 edition. Winners shall be solely

responsible for all expenses associated with participation in the prizes, including transportation,meals, telephone and tips.Approximate retail value of the grand prize is $1000. Approximate retail value of the runner-upprizes are $1000. All federal, state, and local taxes are each winner's sole responsibility. Noprize substitutions, transfers, or cash alternatives are permitted except the Association reservesthe right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at

the Association’s

discretion. All prizeswill be awarded, provided a sufficient number of qualifying entries are received. No warrantiesare made with respect to prizes.The winners understand and agree that accepting the prizes in no way constitutes an employmentrelationship with the Association or any of its members. The declared winners will not be

eligible for any employee benefit or insurance plan available to Association’s or its members’

employees. The winners may not have been, or during the term of the participation in the prizebecome involved in, any situation which brings the Association or its members into publicdisrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or which tends to shock, insult or offend the communityor any group. In any such instance, the Association has the right to require the winner towithdraw from participation in the prize.5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; RIGHTS OF USEAll finalists and their parents/legal guardians (if finalist is a minor in her state of residence) willbe required to sign, notarize and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicityrelease

(together, “Affidavit and Release”)

within 7 days of notification of winning and prior toparticipating in the prizes. In the event that a properly completed Affidavit and Release are notreturned within 7 days of notification, or notification of winning is returned as undeliverable,winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.The Association and all parties acting in concert with the Association have all legal rights in thesubmitted registration form and all aspects of the audition, including but not limited to all
