In post-9/11 America, mere words can get you thrown in jail with a felony terrorism charge poised to ruin your life and confine you to a cage for years on end. Sandy Hook has amplified the insanity. Brian Davis, disabled man from Iowa, made the mistake of telling his physical therapist that he believes security at his grand daughters school is lacking. Now he is in the slammer charged with felony threat of terrorism. According to the people who ratted out Davis to the cops, he threatened to storm the school and shoot people. I never said that I would go in there and do something to those kids. Davis told WHO TV 13 in Des Moines. I said anybody, any one person could go in there. Anybody. The leviathan national security state and its engorged under belly of bureaucrats, judges, prosecutors and redundancy of increasingly sadistic cops needs victims like Mr. Davis to justify its existence.

Pretty soon a guy with a taser will be in the back of every classroom to deal with any disruption. Hell, why not put those TSA shockerbracelets on every child and give the teacher a remote control? How about a big red button that zaps everyone with collective punishment, so the troublemakers can get a nice beating after class marine corps style. If he went on the assumption he didnt have a 1st Amendment right, or the right against self incrimination than he would be playing with his grand son right now. The justification? It is better to be safe then sorry and such is the justification of denial of freedom. It is surely a slippery slope. Where does it stop, at the gas chamber? I have heard it is better to execute a few of the innocent to protect society because they would probably commit a crime anyway, this was back when the hanging Governor was setting a national record on executions, its all about the numbers. I imagine the contemporary version would be, he is just collateral damage by a pre-crime justice department doing the job of keeping us safe.
