Force Fate

The world thinks fate is why well succeed. They say its because we invented the sport. Cause were finally playing on our home turf. They think were born with skates on. I started skating at 3 months old. I started skating at 6 weeks. I was a skating fetus. They say we love hockey more than our parents. My grandmother loves hockey more than she loves me. I dumped my last boyfriend for being a sieve. Its all about the maple syrup. We have 397 words for ice. Its because we have ice in our veins. We have ice in our veins. They say we have an extra hockey chromosome in our DNA. Its called the hockeysome. They say we live in log cabins, built on frozen ponds. I sleep on a frozen pond. They say we name our sticks; Lisa. Ashley. Whitney This is Sue. Up here a skate shop means a four year degree. They say the stars are aligned, that its just meant to happen. Its just supposed to happen.
