A fix for a repetitive system that needs to be fixed

Background
Each year all Midshipmen must attend multiple sexual assault

prevention meetings Much the information is simply a repeat of what was previously covered Training can last anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour Negative impact on morale and message reception

Issues
Many of the briefs given are identical or nearly so to ones

previously given Much of what is covered is common sense The duration and frequency of the training hurts the message Midshipmen are often ineffective at leading the trainings

Goals
Less time wasted
Improved reception of message Improved morale

Cover only pertinent information

Solutions
Replacement of Midshipman instructors
Fewer briefs Curriculum shortened Material made grade/rank specific
