SPECIFICATIONS FOR SYNOPSIS

1. The synopsis shall be computer typed (English- British, Font -Times Roman, Size-12 point) and printed on A4 size paper. 2. The Synopsis shall be typed on one side only with double space with a margin 3.5 cm on the left, 2.5 cm on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at bottom. 3. The diagrams should be printed on a light/white background, Tabular matter should be clearly arranged. Decimal point may be indicated by full stop(.)The caption for Figure must be given at the BOTTOM of the Fig. and Caption for the Table must be given at the TOP of the Table.

The project should be of engineering level. Projects downloaded from internet will not be accepted. Project based merely on survey/literature/tutorials will not be accepted. Two hard copies of project will be submitted. All computer programs developed should be presented in the report in the following manner: Source code listing with complete coding. A CD ROM with program source code, executable files, and data files etc. Users manual giving details of how to use the programs [including flow charts] and the system requirements to be bound with the Project Report. Student will execute the program from the CDROM/after copy from CDROM. 6. Project topic can be changed after the approval of HOD and Project Guide with in the 15days of Synopsis submission.

Feasibility Study: (should not exceed 1 page) Feasibility study of the project that include the feasibility, need and significance of the project

Methodology/ Planning of work (should not exceed 1 page) Methodology will include the steps to be followed to achieve the objective of the project during the project development.

Facilities required for proposed work Instruments required for the development of the project. Bibliography Here specify the description of the study material referred for the development of the project.
