Post Graduate Diploma in Business ManagementRules & RegulationsIntroduction
This document is designed to provide PGDBM student with a summary of their expectedacademic and personal conduct at the TAXILA BUSINESS SCHOOL. This document providesimportant information on registration, curriculum, grading scales, communication of grades,and minimum performance standards. The other sections provide information on attendancenorms, fees, placement, and the like.Academic and personal standards are necessary to promote a fair and orderly conduct. It ishoped that the PGDBM students at the TAXILA BUSINESS SCHOOL will abide by these rulesand will at all times conduct themselves in a manner to reflect credit on the School andenhance its prestige in the community at large.
Registration2.1First Term
All newly admitted PDGBM student are required to register on the registration day andsubmit document to support their academic qualification. Failure to submit outstandingdocument for verifications not later than 7 day of Term I will automatically invalidate thestudent’s admission and the fees deposited will not be refunded.All students will be required to register on the first day of each term unless permitted bythe Dean, PGDBM to register on a later date. A student who fails to register on the firstday of the term would be allowed to register only after he/she has obtained a specialpermission from the Dean, PGDBM who may charge a late registration fee, which in nocase will be less than Rs. 1000/-.Student with any outstanding fees or any other charges shall not be registered for thenew term without clearing the dues.The first semester of the program will have the foundation courses and the secondsemester will have the integration and specialization courses. Student will selectelectives of interest to them. Students may choose electives with a view to specialize intwo areas of specialization. Second semester student must pre-register for the electivecourses for the next term and finalize the number of courses he/she wishes to creditwithin the date notified by the Academic Office.
2.1.1Registration of Elective Course

The elective courses, which will be taught in the second semester, willbe announced in the beginning of 2

term, to facilitate the pre-registration of courses.
