NOTE that a professional library or archives degree is now an "asset qualification" but unlike degrees in Sociology, Statistics or Economics is NOT required. Why would the Managers of Bibliographic description/Archival description/ Metadata/Cataloguing/Pick your term at Canada's national library and archives NOT require professional training?!
