A good amount of recent historical work seeks to understand the past through the lenses these concepts provide.

Useful reflection on some of the issues addressed by Academic Feminists. It would be interesting to see what Scribd Feminists have to say about these issues.

I am already familiar with several of the concepts in this book. It won't hurt to learn more! The concepts include androcentricism, backlash (Whelehan would be recommended reading), body, consciousness raising (speaking pains to recall pains), cyborg and difference. Also there is equality, feminisms and the family. And there is post this and post that. And representation.
