 The Catholic Archive Society meets for its AnnualConference at Ushaw College, Durham this year. Speakersinclude Iris Jones on the archives of the Venerable EnglishCollege, Rome; Dr. Simon P. Johnson on the archives of theEnglish College at Lisbon (with a tour of the LisbonCollection Archive provided by Dr. Michael Sharratt, UshawCollege) and a paper given by Abbot Zielinski, Vice-President of the Pontifical Commission for the CulturalHeritage of the Church. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested inthe cultural heritage of the English Catholic Church athome and abroad to learn more about the resourcesavailable to those who wish to discover more about theEnglish Catholic Church and its cultural, political and socialinteraction with Europe.All are very welcome.
